#365songs (38 / 365)

One of the earliest songs I can remember ever hearing; this album was released the year I was born, so that checks out. I remember at some very young age being kind of pleasantly/confusingly unsettled by the synth line and kind of have the idea in my head that this is the song that's responsible for my being drawn to minor keys now. And that one of my earliest distinct memories is of listening to music says something about why I've embarked on this project.

It's very weird listening to this song in 2026 and hearing how, like... dated and chintzy it sounds? But, ya know. I could probably think of worse musicians to have been a big fan of at age 3 or whatever. I don't know when I stopped, but my age was probably still in the single digits.
