Q. What song makes you feel understood when no one else does?

A. Being misunderstood is hard. Not being understood is also hard. That's what my life has been about since I was born.

Especially, this line resonates with me.

焑駄だ ここは元からζ₯½γ—γ„εœ°η„γ  η”ŸγΎγ‚Œθ½γ‘γŸζ™‚γ‹γ‚‰ 出口はγͺいんだ (It's pointless. This place has always been a joyous hell. From the moment you are born, there is no way out.)

He aptly described life as "joyous hell." The songwriter said the song is inspired by his experience of being hospitalised and fighting illness. Still, the melody sounds bright, and that's what I love about this song.

Oh, I have another favourite line too.

γŸγ εœ°η„γ‚’ι€²γ‚€θ€…γŒ ζ‚²γ—γ„θ¨˜ζ†Άγ«ε‹γ€ (Only those who go through this hell will win over sorrowful memories)

Q. A song that you discovered in an unusual way.

A. Without much expectation, I Shazamed this cool hip-hop track on a crowded Matatu (a bus) running in a middle of nowhere in Kenya, and it got it right. This souvenir song is still on my playlist, and I keep listening to it even today.

Q. What is a song by an artist you don't usually like?

A. I never listen to this kind of song at all. It's like music from a completely different world, as in something only the polar opposite of me would enjoy. But now I know, thanks to the TikTok algorithm.🀣

Q. Share a song you feel was ahead of its time.

A. This experimental sound still sounds relatively new. I've never thought that it was from the 60s! And the song is one my long-time favourites!

Q. A song from the first gig you went to.

A. I'm not sure if Foo Fighters live show was technically the very first one. Maybe I was unconsciously attending some anime song gigs or classical music concerts when I was little.
