Mercy Walked In
Gordon Mote
What's your favorite song about second chances?
"Mercy Walked In" by Gordon Mote" - One of my all-time favorites!
I stood in the courtroom, the judge turned my way
It looks like you're guilty now what do you say?
I spoke up, "Your honor, I have no defense"
But that's when mercy walked in
Mercy walked in and pleaded my case
Called to the stand, God's saving grace
The blood was presented that covered my sin
Forgiven when mercy walked in
Perdoname Dios

Share a song that feels like a prayer.
Perdoname Dios (Pardon Me God) - by David Phelps is such a beautiful song. I love the Spanish guitar and David is one of the best vocalists on the planet.
God in Heaven, hear my prayer
For the suffering here below
Of the innocent and pure
And the many without hope
I am just a simple man
Still believing in a dream
Of a world that's ruled by love
Only You can intervene
Perdoname Dios
Do You hear my cry?
Perdoname Dios
Can I ask You why?
This world's cruel injustice never seems to cease?
With pity and mercy heed this prayer for peace
Perdoname, Perdoname, Perdoname Dios
I see love in many things
In the mountains and the sky
In a flower as it blooms
In a newborn baby's cry
But there are also broken hearts
Warring nations, ruined lands
Desperate families torn apart
Lord, help me to understand
Perdoname Dios
Do You hear my cry?
Perdoname Dios
Can I ask You why?
This world's cruel injustice never seems to cease?
With pity and mercy heed this prayer for peace
Perdoname, Perdoname, Perdoname Dios
Oh Lord, we need Your light
To see us through
So let it shine so bright
That it leads us back to You
This world's cruel injustice never seems to cease?
With pity and mercy heed this prayer for peace
Perdoname, Perdoname, Perdoname Dios
Perdoname Dios
Almost Over You
Sheena Easton
A song from your teenage years.
I'm such a ballad lover. This is one that I used to put on repeat a lot. It's so much better than the cover that was released some years later by Lila McCann.

"Day Three" by LordSong tells the story of the resurrection.
Day one, the hill ran crimson red with blood to cleanse all sin. Day two reminds us keep the faith when the doubts set in. What a difference one day makes, from death to victory. The cross became an empty grave on day three.
What song always makes you feel better?
I answered this one a month ago with a song by BeBe Winans and Korean Soul, but I have a few other feel-good songs that always put me in a good mood. This time I am picking "Good Work" by
TaRanda Greene.

A song from the 2010s that you like or means something to you.
"Chromefish" by Gordon Mote is a catchy tune with thought-provoking lyrics.
You got a right to say what you want to, oh, but can you back it up? To the lost and needy it's just graffiti unless you back it up.
Take Me Back Again
Donny & Marie Osmond
What was the first album you ever bought? Pick your favorite song off that album.
The first album I ever bought was "Donny & Marie Featuring Songs from Their Television Show" by Donny & Marie Osmond. Donny & Marie were such a big part of my childhood. The first 2 albums I ever bought were Donny & Marie albums and the third album I ever bought was a Marie Osmond solo album. And I wore all those albums out. I played them so much. I don't really have a particular favorite from that first album I bought, so I'll just pick one. I am picking "Take Me Back Again", just because it's a nostalgic song and Donny and Marie are nostalgia and childhood memories to me. This brings back such happy childhood memories.
