I love this line because it grounds me and reminds me to walk the fine line between my unfiltered, unchecked self and my highest self I aspire to be in challenging moments. Two years ago I became a union leader and it has tested me in ways I never imagined and forced me to take a long hard look at how I show up in really difficult, tense, stressful, emotional situations but still remember who I am. I’ve learned you can be patient, calm and honest and still have a “loud bark and deep bite”.
