A song from the last gig you went to.

The last gig I went to was Turnstile, with Mannequin Pussy, SPEED, and Jane Remover opening.

And of course it was an outdoor show, so it had to downpour and thunder/lightning right before Turnstile went on... which meant we had to evacuate the stage area. It was late and the storm didn't look like it was going to let up any time soon, so we left. Naturally, Turnstile went on about an hour later and apparently rocked out. It was supposed to be the second time I was to see Turnstile, the first being a 2022 show that was canceled due to a snowstorm. Guess I'm not supposed to see them!

Anyway, Mannequin Pussy killed it, even with Missy their singer fighting laryngitis or whatever she had... it was our second time seeing them and they continue to be one of the best punk bands going today. So, this post is dedicated to them.
