A song you didn't realize was a cover?

I honestly didn't know until a couple of years ago that this was a cover of a Dolly Parton track, and it only really clicked when I watched a recent Miley Cyrus New Year's Eve special, where she performed a mashup of "Wrecking Ball" and "I Will Always Love You" with Dolly.

A song you've seen performed live, or would really like to see performed live?

It was the last day of Galstonbury 2019. We were sitting out the back of the crowd at the Pyramid stage, slightly elevated, looking out across thousands of other people. The sun was still out as the day was not quite over. Miley came out to join Mark Ronson on stage to perform Nothing Breaks Like A Heart as her opening track for her set. What a time to be alive.

A song that reminds you of your last vacation or holiday.

My last proper holiday with the family was to Fiji back in November 2024. We spent a week on Denarau at a resort and had a wonderful time. When I think of Fiji, this track, Fiji Baby by Goodshirt, comes to mind.

In the song, they sing about a time they went to Hamilton, and to pretend they're somewhere else (Hamilton gets a lot of shade here in Aotearoa), and they say they'll pretend they're in Fiji.

We didn't have to pretend, and we had a fantastic time.
