What song best captures your current phase of life?

This song pretty much sums it up. We have a high school senior this year and two juniors. SO the next 12-18 months are going to be sad, exciting, and full of changes.

I'm so proud of all of my kids. They are so different personality wise, interests... but all three are successful in doing what they love:

Milo I've written about a few times recently with his musical theatre exploits (and theatre in general) – he's doing amazing things as he pushes past his comfort zone. He's heading off to SUNY Purchase in the fall for theatre technology and design. Such a bright kid (top 4 in his class), creative, and unbelievably kind and empathetic. So excited for his future.

Stella is the band kid. In pretty much every band at school, playing flute, electric bass, and double bass. She's in jazz band with some schoolmates too – they play gigs and are playing at the Burlington (VT) Jazz Festival in a few weeks. She's such a talented musician and has the drive to work hard. Can't wait to see where she goes.

And Zoey is the sports kid. She plays varsity lacrosse, field hockey, and ice hockey. She's a two-time first team all-star in her school field hockey league, been to states three times for varsity ice hockey, and the leading scorer and captain on her varsity lacrosse team. Plus her travel hockey team made it to the top 6 at their level playing U18 in Canada this past season. So fun to watch her grow into a young adult.

So, so blessed and thankful for these kids. And I cry every time I hear this song, by the way.
