Saw a random mention of Purity Ring today (who apparently have a new album dropping this Friday), and I remembered I was briefly obsessed with their debut record, Shrines, back in 2012, but then they fell off my radar and I haven't checked in for... [checks calendar] ...13 years, apparently. That sent me dwon a rabbit hole seeing what they've been up to, and I'm currently listening to a bunch of stuff I didn't know existed. So far, this track, off their sophomore release—Another Eternity—is my favorite of the new(old) material. Reminds me of a different time and a much younger me.
