Some songs hit deeper than others.
Need You Now by Lady A will always be one of those for me.

It was my brother and his first wife's favorite song.
We all grew up together—my brother, her, and me. Just kids, hanging out, making memories.
Even after my brother and I moved away, the two of them stayed in touch.
Over time, that friendship turned into love.

They got married in 2011.
She was planning to move down to Texas to be with him.
They were just starting their life together.

But she passed away—suddenly, heartbreakingly—only five days after their wedding.

And now, every time I hear this song, I feel her there.
It hurts. But it also brings her back, if only for a few minutes.

Those lyrics… they hit different when you've lived through this kind of loss.

This song is more than just a memory.
