Prompt: What song reminds you of your first heartbreak?
Looking back on my long love of sad songs and love songs, this track feels weird to be my first big breakup song. Cake songs sound so dry and detached, and you have to dig a bit for the emo. I suppose that says something about me at the time. I listened to this whole album nonstop after that first heartbreak, and Mexico was the centerpiece.
