The first song in english that I understood

English is not my native language, and high school was my first exposure to it. Sometimes we were given homework assignments to translate simple songs. I asked my teacher if I could translate Hotel California, and she said no, that it wasn't an appropriate song for children. Needless to say, I had to find that translation myself.

La primer canción en ingles que entendí

Mi idioma nativo no es el inglés, y la secundaria fue mi primer acercamiento a él. En algunas ocasiones nos dejaban de tarea traducir canciones sencilla. En una ocasión le dije a la maestra que si podía traducir Hotel California y dijo que no, que no era una canción apropiada para niños. Está de mas decir que tuve que buscar esa traducción.
