The first album I can remember buying was “Out of Time” by R.E.M. I remember the cool cardboard packaging that came with the CD at the time. This album isn’t my favorite by them but had some big hits on it, like Shiny Happy People and Losing My Religion. I remember loving the artsy dark music video for Losing My Religion, which was a regular on MTV’s 120 Minutes. I chose my favorite song from this album, Near Wild Heaven.
