A song from a genre you didn’t think you’d like—what changed?

This is technically true of the entire album Pretend You're Alive by Lovedrug but I'll single out my favorite from the album, Candy. I picked this up shortly after its released based on someones recommendation and it did not land with me on my initial listen. At all. I left the CD in my car though and ended up randomly putting it back in the CD player about 6 months later and it didn't end up leaving my CD player for several months. For whatever reason I wasn't ready for it when I first got it but when I was ready - it really took!
