The first World of Music, Arts, and Dance (WOMAD) introduced me to all sorts of music I didn't previously know. I went for the indie acts (Simple Minds, the Beat, the Bunny men), but really enjoyed the other stuff.
This song reminds me of when I was milling about before one of the shows, and accidentally stepped back into the bloke behind me. We did the the English apologizing profusely thing, obviously. It was Peter Gabriel.
