punchy pop rock with catchy verses and a chorus that just soars. i can't stop listening to this.
also the video is so unsubtle about its gay subtext that it's pretty much gaybaiting me but it's okay i excuse it.

groovy jazz pop from an idol group with the vocals to back such an arrangement. the hook is really catchy.
i've been revisiting this album today. each and every track is just stunning.
this song, and specifically this solo version by dambara ruru, reminds me to keep going.
I want to keep trying, just a little longer While I'm still able to pretend like I'm strong When I reach my goal someday, I want you to laugh At how truly lame I am
Who am I aiming to be like? What was I like as a child? If I lose sight of that, I'll get lost right away I've been crushed so many times, but my chest is still beating out nonetheless
"I can't keep trying any more than this" Until I'm able to say that with my head held high My feet, that have grown tired of walking so fast Won't be able to stop Alright, keep trying tomorrow too!
mostly listened to crystal kay today. random j-pop puts it better than i ever could:
Girl. Fire the whole management and marketing team.
we live in an unjust world where this immensely talented and beautiful woman never even reached the heights she should've reached in her home country, let alone worldwide. crystal kay is THE blueprint for japanese R&B and she has still not received her flowers for that. it's criminal.
