How do you discover new music, and what’s the latest gem you’ve found?
I've been listening to music on streaming platforms for years, but I stopped a few months ago and went back to buying my albums, for tons of reasons. So, no more Apple Music algorithm for discovering new tracks; now I use a bunch of new sources:
- last.fm, which I've been using for almost 20 years;
- Bandcamp;
- music blogs, like Stereogum;
- Crucial Tracks. 🙂
I've discovered a ton of new stuff by changing how I listen to music. Since I have to pick one, let's go with As December Falls.
