Describe your favorite summer as a kid using a single song.

Siamese Dream came out right before my senior year. I got the cassette in Bozeman, MT on a family trip to Yellowstone National Park. I listened to it the entirety of the trip.

I picked this song and that time because it was the start of me finding myself. It’s been fun watching my kids, over the last year, go through the same 11th/12th grade period of life. With probably even more confidence and talent than I could have ever had at that age.

This generation is being slept on, in my opinion. I just hope we leave them something. Especially reading more about this enormous bill going through Congress. It certainly seems like an enormous transfer from poor to rich and young to old… 😞
