Love Without End, Amen by George Strait just started playing on my playlist. Great song from a great singer.

Hearing most any song from George Strait makes me miss my days in Houston, TX as it constantly makes me think of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I pretty much went every year for the 35+ years that I lived there and always had so much. Lots of great memories seeing lots of great artists, including the King of Country himself!

Turn Up The Radio just came on as I was making my post on Mastodon and what a great song. This is definitely something I'll be doing to help me get through yet another extremely busy work day at Skylight Calendar.

Music playing in the background at all times is what helps me focus and do the best I can do. And this song is just a song to really just put your down and dive in and get things done to.

This was my Nana's favorite song of all time. She lived until she was 96 years old and could barely hear anything, but she could always hear this song when it played on CMT on the TV. Good memories of the best woman ever to have walked the Earth!

This song just came on my playlist and to be honest, it's really about the only song that most people know by EXTREME, though they were a really good band that had some good songs. They just never really made it big or popular.

Certainly not my favorite Poison song, but definitely in the top 10. Though most everything Poison does is really good. And talk about a band that entertains when you see them live. They are so good that I've seen them 54 times in concert. You'd think they would be my favorite band of all time if I had seen them that many times, though again, they are definitely in my top 5 favorite bands of all time.

I really don't know why, but I've had this song in the back of my head for well over a week or so now. It just randomly keeps popping to the front of my head and I start singing it. Hands down my favorite Daughtry song of all time. It's off their very first album and is a song I listened to on repeat for many months. I've had the pleasure of seeing them perform it live, twice, in concert when I was living in Georgia. Moments I will never forget.

Not only is this song great, but the entire album is amazing. Flashback story here... This was the first cassette tape I ever bought. I had earned some allowance money and had gone shopping with my dad at Safeway and they sold cassettes. I wanted to buy my first one, and I saw this album and an album by Molly Hatchet. I decided this one looked much cooler and decided to go for it. Little did I know I'd be a Motley Crue fan forever, and that a few years later they would be my first concert ever as well.
