Great track from the Swedish twin brothers Sammy and Johnny Boakye Bennett. Feels a bit like Connected by Stereo MC’s, with a touch of early Björk in there too.

The Swedish band Kite is one of my absolute favorite discoveries in recent years. I love both their sound and their lyrics, and I often recognize myself in their words. That sense of recognition is usually what connects me to a song or an artist.
Just discovered this great track after listening to an interesting interview with the man behind Mammoth, Wolfgang Van Halen.
A song from your teenage years.
I was in my teens when this song came out. I’d just started playing the drums, and I thought the drumming on this track was so cool (still do). Later, when I saw them crash a playback performance on German TV, I knew they were the coolest band in the world.
What is a song that makes you think of your first job?
My cousin and I used to work as bricklayers for the same company. On our way to work, we’d often blast this cool song in the car.
What's a song that instantly makes you smile?
This song always puts a smile on my face, no matter my mood. The joyful vocals just have this way of making you smile. Simply wonderful!
A song that you discovered on a film soundtrack.
I discovered this beautiful song while watching the lovely movie The Royal Tenenbaums. It’s one of my favorite soundtracks, an album filled with gems from start to finish.
A song you'd do at karaoke?
I’ve got a voice made for text, but this one I might just be able to pull off if I were forced into karaoke. Even though I’d still clear half the room…
A song you've seen performed live, or would really like to see performed live?
I would have loved to see any song by Nick Drake performed live. That won’t happen, of course, not even on video.
A song that you discovered in an unusual way.
I overheard two people talking about this artist and song. I decided to find out what the fuss was about — and I was hooked.
